THURSDAY'S Ben Fund collection during the Watling JCB Lions v Belle Vue fixture raised the excellent total of £1,553.95 .
The collection took place during the early interval which was called to enable fence repairs to take place after the Heat 6 crash which unfortunately saw Dan Bewley withdrawn from the meeting.
